CITY OF MABEL- CLEAN-UP DAY
SATURDAY – MAY 10, 2014
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SITE

$ 10.00 PER LOAD FOR MATERIALS THAT WOULD GO INTO THE DUMPSTER
AND ADDITIONAL $ 10.00 FOR EVERY APPLIANCE INCLUDING TV’S AND COMPUTERS.
RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY

The City of Mabel will make available two roll off dumpsters to residents of Mabel for a SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY. The date will be May 10th from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Wastewater Treatment Site. Clean up day is only for residents of the City of Mabel. The City will not provide pick-up service individuals will be responsible to transport items to the site, and unload the items at the site.

 

EXAMPLES OF ITEMS THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE SITE:
• Furniture items (beds, chairs, mattresses, etc.)
• Old Carpet
• Water Softeners and Humidifiers

MAJOR APPLIANCES:
• Refrigerator, dishwashers, freezers, stoves, microwaves, washers, dryers, water heaters, dehumidifiers, furnaces and air conditioners.

RESIDENTIAL LIGHT DEMOLITION: (ANYONE BRINGING LARGE AMOUNTS WILL BE TURNED AWAY)
• Small amounts of building material and other miscellaneous items. This includes windows, sheet rock, shingles, plaster, untreated wood, paneling, etc.

COMPUTERS, TELEVISION AND COMPUTER MONITORS

 

ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:
• Household hazardous wastes. (Paint, stains and varnishes, cleaners, cements and adhesives, paint thinners and strippers, pesticides and herbicides and used motor oil.)
• Tires and Batteries.
• Compost and yard waste
• Regular garbage and recyclables
