IMPORTANT NOTICE – Water Freeze Up – Notice posted 2/14/2014

Please consistently check the temperature of your water by using a thermometer.  Many house services in nearby towns are freezing and there is no way for the city to thaw out lines.  Each day, turn your water to cold and let it run for 1 minute.  Take the temperature.  It should consistently stay the same.  If it is dropping, it could mean a freezing line.  If this is the case, you may have to let your water run at a slow trickle continuously until your water temperature has stabilized.
